Friday Musical Interlude: My Fair Lady
Dec 28, 2012 at 3:31 pm
We went to see the Arena Stage’s production of My Fair Lady, a show which boasts some of the most perfect music/lyrics ever staged. Here’s a couple of my favorite numbers but feel free to add others–and there are many more wonderful tunes here–in the comments.
“Kick up a rumpus,
But don’t lose the compass,
And get me to the church on time!”

I LOVE musical theater! My Fair Lady is right up there on my list of Phantom, Jekyll and Hyde and Les Mis, Wicked, I could go on, but won’t. You’re busy
I’m a big fan, always look forward to your appearances on MSNBC because you “explain stuff” in a way I can understand and more importantly AGREE WITH! I love that you studied music and have a Masters in Social Wrk. I have a Masters in Counseling and worked at a college. How did you go from those interests to economics? I’m glad you did, so you can explain it to ME. Glad you got out and saw a great theater production. Now go fix our nation’s problems with that brain of yours. You and Howard Dean.
Go on now…gooooo…you’ve had your break, it’s time to HELP US!!! THEN you can go see another show.
