What’s Driving Down the Labor Share? How About Too Little Worker Bargaining Power?

Over at the NYT Economix blog, but here, for OTE viewers only, is a similar analysis the “ungap” one in the NYT post, but for the GDP gap: the percent by which actual GDP is above or below potential.  Note that the polarity is the opposite of the ungap variable: higher values on GDPgap imply less economic slack.
