Folks suggested I go with “I Feel the Earth Move” or “All Shook Up” given events here on the east coast from earlier this week (btw, I was impressed by how well the structures held up here in the face of a big-ass earthquake—kudos to the architects and builders who built them…(with notable exceptions, Michelle)).
Though by the end of the week, it’s more “Riders on the Storm” or “Good Night, Irene.”
All venerable ideas, but I’m gonna go with a late summer song about a cool river with an old rope ladder hangin’ down cuz that’s where I’d like to be right about now.
I love that twang in the guitar right after he sings, “I can hear the bullfrog callin’ me.” Sounds like a guitar-playin’ bullfrog!
“If you get lost, come on home to Green River.”
I don’t know…I got trouble in mind…

Well, Green River scanned better than Putah Creek. See http://www.sacbee.com/2011/09/03/3882044/winters-project-restoring-putah.html
