Musical Interlude: This Song is Stuck in my Head

So maybe if I post it up here I can clear out some much-needed space in the aging noodle.

It’s that classic ballad–They Say It’s Wonderful–sung by Doris Day in a slice of pure Americana.   If you’re wound up about something, take a few minutes of this and call me in the morning.

    One of Irving Berlin’s very best ballads. It’s from “Annie Get You Gun,” isn’t it? Be sure to also listen to the great Coltrane/Hartman version of the same tune

    Doris Day was really a good band singer, wasn’t she?

      I will re Coltrane/Hartman and yes, DD rocks the band. Not a lot of spin on the ball, just sings the song beautifully.
