You took a beating at Upshot, unearned. If my job performance (or any else) was so studiously observed as Mr. Obamas, we would probably not get as high a grade as the President. That said, he could pivot (ah, basketball) and emphasis the negative value of legislative dis-function. This should be his legacy issue. An economic recovery will not be remembered as something special.
