The Times, They Are An Aging.

Bob Dylan is 70 today. I hate to think what that makes me. I still picture him like this:

Anyway, we’re lucky to still have him around.  “Tangled Up in Blue” says it all, as far as I’m concerned.

I love Tangled Up In Blue, Jared – but you have to admit, since about 2000, Idiot Wind is the Dylan song that really says it all.

I hear you…but I mean, look at this:

“Then she opened up a book of poems
      And handed it to me
      Written by an Italian poet
      From the fifteenth century
And every one of them words rang true
      And glowed like burning coal
      Pouring off of every page
Like it was written in my soul from me to you
      Tangled up in blue”

That just gets right inside your soul!

You may have been too busy to have heard that Suze Rotolo, the woman next to Dylan on that album cover, died 3 months ago.
